Log wood carved with chainsaw and power tools by artist Michelle Thevenot in Saskatchewan, Canada. The base was charred with a propane torch to create a black color and enhance the texture before sealer was applied.

The abstract and conceptual sculpture visualizes feelings of simplicity and calmness while embracing the natural characteristics and cracks in the wood. A co-creation between artist and nature.
