Frog's Lilypad is an enchanting fusion of art and function, where a spruce log transforms into a whimsical side table. Using chainsaw and power tools, I carved the log into a lilypad, seemingly afloat on water, surrounded by submerged aquatic plants. Crowned by a happy frog carved from green soapstone, it bridges the realms of sculpture and practicality. This piece captures the essence of nature's playfulness while providing a novel, functional addition to any space, bringing the outdoors inside with a touch of imaginative charm.
