DESCRIPTION:
A life-size deer buck sculpture with leaf pattern camouflaging its body. The legs are like tree trunks extending down to the ground where roots spread out.
The metal antlers grow upwards into tree branches with bark texture and stainless steel leaves.
Antlers are removable for transport on a separate carriage.
ARTIST STATEMENT:
It’s a blend of realism and fantasy. Part animal spirit, part tree spirit.
Symbolic of growth as a tree of life.
It’s the felt-but-unseen energy of nature that feels safe, calm, grounding, at home… he is the ethereal guardian of natural balance.
