The Story

Cubist-style martini glass featuring textural dimensionality of acrylic paint, paper, metal tacks, and dried leaves.

Previously exhibited at Calories "Home" Exhibition by Michelle Thevenot (nee. Durell), Fall 2012, Saskatoon, SK

“Home” is an exhibition addressing both the tangible and intangible facets of what comprises an individual sense of home. Through concepts and items of comfort, belonging, and familiarity, “home” can exist even in the unlikeliest of places.

A realization of “home” finally came to me in recent years. I know where and with whom I belong. I know what brings me joy, comfort, and inspiration. My home is made up of a surrounding of these elements.

Early career collector's piece.
